Why Hot Yoga?

Aside from the known benefits of a traditional yoga class (stress management/mental health, flexibility, increased strength, improved posture and body awareness, etc.), when you participate in our hot yoga offerings you get so much more. Our state-of-the-art studio is outfitted with multiple infrared heating panels that you will find throughout the practice room. These infrared heating panels provide far infrared heat (FIR) that results in a plethora of benefits to your body as indicated by extensive scientific research including, but not limited to:

  • detoxification

  • reduced joint pain and stiffness

  • decreased muscle tension and soreness

  • improved circulation

  • improved cardiovascular health

  • skin purification

  • boosting of the immune system

  • improved sleep quality

Not only will you get a hot and sweaty workout with our powerful Vinyasa Flow, but you will gain so much more by practicing in our heated yoga studio.

Lotus Yoga is a yoga & wellness studio that is centered around hot yoga classes, but we also offer a multitude of unheated classes for our community.

Joining us for the first time?

Here are a few tips to help you make the most of your time with us.

  1. Arrive a Few Minutes Early: We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before your scheduled class. This will give you enough time to check-in, meet your instructor, and get set up for an amazing workout. Please note: To ensure a smooth and uninterrupted class experience and for everyone's safety and security, we will be locking the doors promptly 5 minutes after the class begins.

  2. Bring your yoga mat and a sweat hand towel (for heated classes): We encourage you to bring your own yoga mat and sweat towel, but if you don’t have one, you can use ours.

  3. Stay Hydrated: Don't forget to bring a water bottle with you to every class. Staying hydrated is essential for maintaining energy levels and maximizing your performance.

  4. Dress Comfortably: Wear workout clothes that allow you to move freely and comfortably. We suggest opting for breathable fabrics that absorb sweat.

  5. What to Expect: Our classes are designed to challenge and inspire you while ensuring a fun and inclusive environment.

  6. Modifications and Options: Our instructors are experts at providing modifications and options for different fitness levels. If you have any concerns or specific requirements, please don't hesitate to communicate with your instructor before the class. We're here to support you every step of the way.

  7. Early Cancellation: If you can't make it to a class, cancel your reservation as early as possible to allow others to take your spot. Beginning February 1st, a $5 No-Show Fee will be implemented for missed classes. We value your commitment to your wellness journey and aim to create a positive experience for all. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Let's honor our practice and each other's time.
